The research around early intervention is extensive.  Early identification and intervention capitalizes on the crucial period of brain development when neural pathways are still forming and can be targeted.  We offer a small group model, working with teachers to plan groups within the classroom.  These “push in” services are a collaborative effort with the teacher to create a group that fits with the teacher’s lesson plans, while at the same time strengthening specific areas of concerns.  Groups may facilitate organization and attention through sensory processing strategies, or work to improve pre-writing skills by addressing underlying visual motor skills.
